Pizza Pilot
TM
is a sophisticated
delivery management solu-
tion.
Pizza Pilot is a patent pend-
ing software system that
connects to any POS system
and continuously analyzes
the dynamic pizza delivery
environment.
Every 15 seconds, Pizza Pilot
uses advanced algorithms to
determine the most efficient
delivery sequence and routes
based on order times, loca-
tions, driver availability, food
preparation and travel time.
This system works with all
POS systems and incorpo-
rates a learning algorithm
that takes the guess work
and the learning curve out of
the hands of the delivery
drivers and dispatchers.
Pizza Pilot is designed to
complement and ultimately
be incorporated into any
POS system as an intelligent
agent. This agent is capable
of optimizing and directing
the dispatch decision-making,
cutting delivery times, mini-
mizing labor while improving
the operations of any deliv-
ery system.
What's Pizza Pilot?
Pizza Pilot Plans Fu-
ture Offerings:
· Basic, Bluetooth and
GPS versions.
· All version will provide
dramatic labor savings
and cut delivery times.
· The GPS model will also
provide many advanced
services to customers.
· Pizza Pilot can be
equipped "Pre-Call
TM"
,
that will telephone the
customer within a pre-
set time prior to actual
arrival.
· "Pre-Call" pleases cus-
tomers while reducing
the driver's actual time
at the door, trimming
further labor savings.
· Customers can also use
the web to track, con-
firm and receive notifi-
cation of upcoming
deliveries.
· Mapping and audible
directions are resident
on the GPS device which
safely prevent lost driv-
ers and minimize the
learning curve for new
drivers.
How does it work?
What's in it for me?
Pizza Pilot is based on a set
of advanced algorithms de-
veloped by a team of indus-
trial engineers; each with
over 20 years of experience
in optimization techniques
and utilizes advanced tech-
nologies including GPS, Blue-
tooth, cell
data systems,
Internet, and
geographical databases.
Pizza Pilot's patent-pending
system utilizes data already
contained within each POS
system such as order and
address information, make
line, dispatch and other data
as inputs. This data is ana-
lyzed every 15 seconds to
incorporate the dynamic
conditions that com-
pose the pizza
delivery environ-
ment.
For instance, driv-
ers' GPS location is
continually updated
and its effect on
the expected return
time is calculated so that
subsequent dispatch deci-
sions can intelligently incor-
porate useful estimates into
optimal runs.
Pizza Pilot provides consis-
tent and smart delivery op-
tions designed to manage
your labor and cut delivery
times.
In tests, Pizza Pilot reduced
average delivery times by 10-
12 minutes (33%). Savings in
labor of 20-25% were also
attained with no increase in
delivery time. The smart
operator will do both: com-
bine labor savings of 12-20%
with a simultaneous reduc-
tion in delivery times of 5-
10%. So, this system does
not trade off service for sav-
ings, it delivers both.
To have a system that takes
the guess work out of dis-
patching, reduces labor costs
and actually cuts the
delivery time is in-
valuable. It's a win /
win for the owner,
management and
most importantly, the
customer. The ability
to expand to new
locations without
waiting for drivers
and dispatchers to learn the
delivery area is truly valuable
for all delivery restaurants.
